Job Overview

The Stormwater and Environmental Water Lead is a key role within an organization, responsible for leading a team to deliver strategic planning across the environmental water and stormwater program.

As a technical leader, you will provide guidance to the team and the business on environmental water and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to deliver strategic planning across the environmental water and stormwater program and ensure holistic systems-thinking is adopted in planning.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and the business on environmental water and stormwater management.
  • Develop an environmental water and stormwater program to support the achievement of strategy targets.
  • Promote environmental and stormwater objectives internally and externally to ensure achievement of objectives and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experienced people leader with high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in water management, stormwater management, environmental water management, or equivalent industry expertise.
  • Proven consultation, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to establish and foster strong, trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders.
