We are seeking a skilled Gearing Design Engineer to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design custom gearing and enclosed gear units.
  • Perform dimensional layouts.
  • Perform gear geometry and gear rating calculation.
  • Perform bearing life calculation.
  • Utilize AutoCad and ProE software.
  • Prepare drawings and BOM's for shop.
  • Reverse engineer gearboxes for rebuild.
  • Interface with customers and sales staff on design of products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 year Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Ability to utilize CAD (2D & 3D).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years design experience.
  • Experience in gear design, geometric tolerance, gearbox rebuilds and bearing life calculation.

This role requires:

  • Mid-Senior level of seniority.
  • Other employment type.
