Senior Caregiver Peer Support Specialist

This role involves offering peer support to carers and families who have a relative or friend receiving treatment from mental health community programs.
About the Position:- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treating teams to ensure unique needs of families and carers are understood and supported during treatment planning processes.
- Provide ongoing support to carers and families through regular contact and collaboration with them.
- Lived experience of caring for someone with mental health challenges is essential.
- Favourable qualifications not mandatory, but may be beneficial (e.g. Certificate IV in Peer Support).
- Australian working rights and current Victorian Driver's License required.
- Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo Background Check necessary.
