We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at Currumbin RSL & Services Memorial Club Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes that meet the establishment's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the establishment's standards and appeal to our customers.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain kitchen efficiency and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Related qualifications (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management highly desirable)
  • Proven experience as a Chef - min. of 2 years
  • Flexibility with roster
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Be extremely reliable and punctual
  • Work with minimal supervision and be a great team player.
