About The Role

We're on the hunt for a passionate and driven Business Development Partner to join our team in North QLD. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of uncovering and driving new business opportunities across our diverse portfolios. Your goal? To deliver exceptional customer experiences and work closely with all Veritext teams to create innovative, sustainable solutions that empower individuals to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and enhance strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and networks.
  2. Demonstrate innovative promotion both online and face-to-face of Veritext's support offerings, created in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications function.
  3. Ensure a customer-centric approach is evident in all daily interactions and practice, including customer goals and outcomes.
  4. Assure the best possible customer experience for all new customer leads to Veritext.
  5. Drive regional business growth and development portfolios to secure new customers proactively.
  6. Ensure a smooth, consistent, and positive process from customer enquiry through to handover to operations.
  7. Champion and demonstrate customer choice and control.
  8. Provide an efficient and effective customer service function while optimizing business growth and opportunities for service expansion.
  9. Assure accurate and timely advice and direction to prospective customers, their families/networks, and services colleagues.
  10. Demonstrate self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team to achieve delegated KPIs.
  11. Ensure the customer perspective on how Veritext's service provision and processes are altered or redesigned to meet customer needs is apparent throughout all aspects of business development.

About You
  • Qualification in Business Management or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a business and/or customer service management role.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing and values-driven organisation.
  • Experience in driving positive cultural reform and building workforce capability.
  • Experience in Business Development or sales.
  • Experience within the legal industry and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective business networks and relationships.
  • Able to adapt communication style to the specific needs of individuals and groups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a deeply proactive approach to meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Capacity to implement change and identify opportunities for innovation and positive outcomes for customers.
  • Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks, and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence in using systems and technology.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence (unrestricted) and willingness to use a personal vehicle for work purposes if required.
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
  • Ability to travel interstate and intrastate as and when required.
