This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Process Architect for a major utilities provider backed by the Queensland Government.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing business processes across the organization.

Evaluate existing workflows to identify pain points and improvement opportunities, develop detailed process models, and implement strategies aimed at enhancing overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and model value streams and processes.
  • Discover and document key metrics to measure and optimize value streams and processes.
  • Lead and facilitate process analysis workshops.
  • Maintain an enterprise view of the process catalogue ensuring alignment with process frameworks.
  • Liaise with program and project teams on current state and target state process architectures.
  • Support design reviews, ensuring alignment with process frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Collaborate with Architecture and Project teams to embed and standardize process analysis into design processes.
  • Identify, create, and maintain process-related reference architectures and patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering at the enterprise level.
  • Strong knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio, ARIS, Signavio).
  • Understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with APQC frameworks and best practices in business process management.
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience using TOGAF or Zachman Framework, and/or knowledge of BIZBOK.
  • Experience working in an Architecture Practice.
