  • We're seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our new AI Powered Engineering function dedicated to working with a global community to use AI assisted tools and capabilities.
  • This role will involve collaborating with top engineers and AI experts to drive training, culture, and experimentation so that all engineers make the best use of emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to complex technical problems, ensuring quality engineering outcomes through design and implementation.
  2. Translate requirements into engineering solutions, breaking down work and creating clarity for team members.
  3. Experiment with emerging AI assisted engineering tools and capabilities, providing feedback and insights from real-world testing.
  4. Deliver robust and reusable solutions integrating seamlessly into other teams' workflows and products.
  5. Support customer-centric approaches, doing work aligned with user needs and organisational goals.
  6. Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements, role modeling standards and best practices.
  7. Maintain high-quality code bases, assist in documentation, and provide guidance to junior engineers and squad members.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML applications enhancing software engineering processes.
  • Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
  • Preferably have experience building Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and daily use of AI coding assistants like Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
  • Knowledge of or experience in Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf / Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face will be highly desirable.
