Warehouse Manager Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by conducting regular audits and ensuring proper storage and labelling.
  • Receiving & Dispatch: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including staging materials for production and verifying shipment documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support warehouse staff through task delegation, training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce WHS standards and maintain ISO 9001 compliance to ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies using lean principles. Collaborate with production and logistics to streamline workflows.
  • Systems & Reporting: Utilise WMS to track inventory and generate reports on stock levels, order fulfilment, and team performance.
  • Equipment Oversight: Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.

For this role, you will require a Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehousing (preferred but not always required). Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing a small team, as well as experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain Operations, is essential.
