Warehouse Supervisor | Brendale, Queensland, AUS 4500

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods. This hands-on role ensures that inventory is received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and organized manner, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor leads and motivates a team of warehouse staff, coordinates with planning, production and supply chain teams, and implements process improvements to support operational goals and customer satisfaction.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to grow and challenge your skills in a dynamic warehouse environment. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper storage and labelling. Oversee kit assembly to meet production and dispatch timelines.
  • Receiving & Dispatch: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including staging materials for production and verifying shipment documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support warehouse staff through task delegation, training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce WHS standards, maintain ISO 9001 compliance, and ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies using lean principles. Collaborate with production and logistics to streamline workflows.
  • Systems & Reporting: Utilise WMS to track inventory and generate reports on stock levels, order fulfilment, and team performance.
  • Equipment Oversight: Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with production, procurement, and logistics to align warehouse activities with business needs.
  • Corporate Compliance: Adhere to MTS policies, legislative requirements, and promote a strong safety culture.
Job Requirements
  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehousing (preferred but not always required)
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing a small team
  • Experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain Operations
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (preferred SAP ERP experience)
  • Forklift Licence
  • First Aid Certification
  • Understanding of 6S methodology
