Role Description:

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Technical Services team at Clermont Open Cut, a high-performing truck & shovel operation in the Bowen Basin.

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing geotechnical hazards, conducting wall mapping and analysis, and installing and monitoring geotechnical devices.

">

This role requires strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working closely with site technical services, operations teams, and geotechnical consultants">

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geotech Engineering">
  • 3 years minimum experience in Open Cut Coal Mining">
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills">
  • Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders">
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving">
  • QLD Drivers Licence">
