  • Demonstrate and continuously develop a well-defined pedagogical approach that inspires student learning;
  • Conduct classes, assess student achievements and support students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses in line with relevant policies;
  • Design and develop learning activities and resources, and assessment and feedback using a range of suitable approaches and learning environments
  • Lead the development of innovative teaching approaches and participate in the exchange of these approaches with colleagues
  • Support learning progression with students as individuals (through such things as one-to-one consultation) and as a cohort (through general course related advice) to achieve positive learning and employability outcomes for students;
  • Manage course administration as Course Authority, including academic quality assurance;
  • Maintain professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge and minimum accreditation requirements;
  • Make a positive contribution to meetings and seminars and be a member of committees as required;
  • Promote responsible management education, reflecting principles in course and program learning outcomes, and assurance of learning processes.
About You:
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or relevant work experience that complements your focus;
  • Stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development;
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching design, development and delivery at various levels;
  • Experience using educational technologies and online delivery methods;
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry and/or experience of work-integrated learning;
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and promote equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives;
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values.
