Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative academic leader to join our team. As an Academic Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality enabling courses that meet the needs of students, schools, and communities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our well-established enabling programs, shaping enabling education that remains responsive, student-centred, and impactful. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in Academic Pathway Programs and across the university, leading the design and development of units, teaching units, contributing to academic governance, and overseeing sessional academic staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering high-quality enabling courses that cater to diverse learner needs
  • Contributing to the scholarship of teaching and learning, including research and evaluation in enabling education and inclusive practice
  • Leading the design and development of units, teaching units, and contributing to academic governance
  • Overseeing sessional academic staff to ensure seamless delivery of courses
