Job Overview

The Senior Lecturer position plays a pivotal role in delivering and continuously improving programs at university-partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain engaging course materials and assessments aligned with learning outcomes and academic standards.
  2. Provide high-quality teaching, timely feedback, and ongoing academic support to students across various delivery modes.
  3. Monitor student progress, identify at-risk students, and implement appropriate support and interventions.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of results and maintain compliance with institutional requirements.
  5. Contribute to course quality through moderation, assessment reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Support broader academic functions including RPL applications, student interviews, and orientation activities.
  7. Participate actively in professional development, teaching evaluations, and collaborative academic meetings.
  8. Up hold professional standards, provide academic leadership where required, and report any conduct, safety, or operational concerns as appropriate.
About You
  • A postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant industry experience post-qualification, specifically related to Early Childhood Education.
  • Willingness to undertake continued professional development annually.
  • Strong understanding of theory and practice in the relevant discipline.
Desirable Skills
  • Completion of, or enrollment in, a PhD program.
  • Relevant tertiary teaching experience with demonstrated achievements and results.
  • Ability to improve teaching methods and willingness to utilize technology or innovative strategies for teaching, learning, and student engagement.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills and willingness to contribute to professional collaborations and academic administration.
