Parks and Open Spaces Associate

We are seeking a Community Worker to join our Parks & Streetscape Operations team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in outdoor work and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of local parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas, supporting the delivery of high-quality services that benefit the community.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out operational tasks and activities to meet performance targets and service commitments.
- Work closely with the Team Leader and internal stakeholders to contribute to the success and improvement of Council's green spaces.
- Horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn field device operations for managing daily team work plans.
- Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice, and probity.
- Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
- Suitable fitness level to perform inherent duties.
- Experience working in Local Government.
