Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional mine operations leader to spearhead the execution of our underground mining plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise operational and technical services teams, including contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans that align with business objectives.
  • Drive performance across production, development, and infrastructure upgrades, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop direct reports, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for improvement to support mine growth, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Cultivate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across site operations.

Requirements

  • Strong educational background in Mining Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in mechanized hard-rock underground mining, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent planning, production, and cost-control capabilities, with a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing returns.
  • Deep understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and operational risk management principles.
  • Superb communication, reporting, and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Valid C-Class driver's license in Western Australia.
