The Norseman Gold Operation is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to lead the planning, implementation, and direction of the engineering aspects of underground mining operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the underground mine, including optimizing development designs and stope drill/blast designs to minimize dilution and maximize gold recovery.

This role involves preparing accurate short-term mining schedules to meet mine targets, liaising with the Senior Mine Engineer on mine planning and schedule priorities, and coordinating daily mine production activities to achieve targets.

Additionally, this role requires conducting daily reconciliation and variance analysis against designs and schedules, identifying and investigating production bottlenecks, and implementing methods to eliminate or mitigate them.

Liaison with Mine Surveyors, Geologists, and Contractor Supervision team is also a key aspect of this role.

Assisting in ensuring compliance to Work Health and Safety Act and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, and ensuring that site safety policies, procedures, and standards are being followed.

Training and development of graduate mining engineers as required.

Pantoro's 100% owned Norseman Gold Project is a new fully operational gold mining operation which includes a >1 million tonne per annum processing plant and two operating high grade underground mines.

The project has achieved six successive quarters of production growth and is in a prolific goldfield with a large pipeline of ore sources and exploration targets to ensure long life and future expansion options.
