About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing credit applications and supporting the growth of the business. You'll analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine creditworthiness while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit assessments and analyze loan applications.
  • Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documents to assess the applicant's financial position.
  • Recommend credit decisions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the lending process.
  • Monitor loan performance and maintain accurate records of credit analysis and lending decisions.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the Lending Operations team.

What We Offer:

  • $95K - $110K + Super (approximately AUD 120K - AUD 140K per year)
  • A hybrid work week in the heart of the Melbourne CBD

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit analysis or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of lending principles, credit assessment, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to lending.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
