About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for dealing with complex tasks. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a regulated operational line 1 AML/CTF environment, preferably in the banking sector. Strong knowledge of financial crime processes and procedures, including ECDD, ML/TF typologies, transaction monitoring, sanction screening indicators, and red flags is essential.
The successful candidate will assess alerts and transactions generated by analytics-based financial crime systems to identify unusual activity, patterns, or behaviours. They will also provide guidance and approvals for submitted TTR and IFTI transactions while working closely with the AML Operations Team Leader. Additionally, they will facilitate training and support post-training for AML Operations Analysts, driving a culture of empowerment and inclusivity.
