We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, to work with adults with disability in their homes and the community.
Job DescriptionThis role provides a holistic approach to support participants, focusing on increasing independence and promoting empowerment. Our goal is to assist participants in developing skills to have a great life. The successful candidate will work independently, using initiative to facilitate supports and provide participant-centered care.
Responsibilities- Foster effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Demonstrate commitment to high-quality service delivery in various settings.
- Support participants in upholding their human rights and promoting choice and control.
- Maintain excellent organisational skills, prioritising tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve quality outcomes.
- Possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and adapt to varied settings.
- Flexibility with working hours and environments.
