About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and sales-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager within our Power Technique Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering on Marketing/Territory plans to support revenue growth within our direct and indirect channels to market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
  2. Utilize consultative selling techniques to build strong relationships with end customers and distributors.
  3. Assume end-to-end sales responsibilities, including generating enquiries, customer visits, understanding technical applications, quotes, and associated operational sales aspects.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to drive sales growth.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Experience in sales planning, territory management, distributor management, and Key Account Management.
  • Sound understanding of effective consultative selling techniques, market analysis, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Compressed Air Systems, Dewatering Pumps, and Power Generation products.
  • A technical degree and/or mechanical trade qualification (desired but not essential).
  • Extensive experience selling Parts and Service products (service contracts, fixed price plans etc.).
  • High level of analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using SAP CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Available to travel interstate regularly and occasional travel overseas.
