Sheetmetal Fabricator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team in Brisbane & Surrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout all work tasks.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and responsibility in adhering to deadlines.
  • Show proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings with precision and accuracy.
  • Experience in handling a range of materials, including challenging materials.
  • Familiarity with materials such as steel, aluminium & polymer.
  • Cutting material, weld prep, grinding and finishing.
  • Strict adherence to WHS guidelines and regulations.
  • Selecting appropriate types of Sheetmetal according to building or design specifications.
  • Measuring and marking dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
  • Duct fabrication may be required in some roles.
  • Installing metal sheets with supportive frameworks in place.
  • Fabricating or altering parts at construction sites as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in steel/aluminium Sheetmetal and/or duct fabrication.
  • Holding a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
