We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Generalist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a passion for people operations to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
This role will drive the day-to-day cadence of the HR team, reporting to the People Operations Manager based in Sydney. The successful candidate will help to continually improve the overall employee experience of approximately 160 employees in 4 different countries, which is expected to grow to ~200 by the end of 2025.
About the Job- As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for driving various aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to separation.
- You will support and guide employees through the full lifecycle, providing guidance and assistance when needed.
- You will continually evolve and improve processes, ensuring that they are efficient, effective, and meet the needs of the business.
- Own and evolve the global onboarding process, including acceptance and first-day experiences.
- Provide support and guidance across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Continually improve and streamline processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and implement engaging tools to allow employees to self-help, improving their overall experience.
- Manage staff performance, including owning probation management and assisting with performance management cases.
- Develop and deliver Learning & Development activities, coaching and upskilling people managers, and collating resources.
- Oversee Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and employee records, leveraging technology to streamline and automate processes.
- Stay across employment legislation in the countries we operate, refining people-related processes in line with changing laws.
- Assist the People Operations Manager with cyclical activities such as annual and mid-year performance reviews, compensation reviews, and eNPS surveys.
- Generate people metrics reporting, sharing actionable insights with managers.
- Other duties within the Employee's skills and experience, or with reasonable training.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Solid experience with performance management, employee relations, and HR systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- The ability to decipher between what staff want and need, shaping solutions that strike the best balance.
