Job Summary

The ICT Support Officer will provide essential technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our customer's IT systems and services. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing user support, and contributing to the maintenance of our client's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain 365 Tenants, licensing, domains, and security.
  • Recommend, configure, and maintain new hardware for clients.
  • Perform, monitor, and report on helpdesk tickets.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users. Provide timely and effective support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of IT systems, including workstations, servers, and network equipment.
  • Offer training and guidance to users on software applications, systems, and best practices to optimize their IT experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations. Update and manage IT documentation and user guides (Internal knowledgebase).
  • Monitor system performance and security, and generate reports on IT activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to support ongoing projects, system improvements, and technology deployments.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role or similar. Experience in Helpdesk and customer service is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, experience with Windows Server, Windows, Android, IOS, and Mac OS operating systems, printers, and familiarity with networking concepts and tools such as DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Certifications: Certificate IV in IT or above is required. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent is advantageous.
