Lead Food Processing Equipment Designer

Job Description:

The role of a Senior Project Engineer is crucial to the technical success of large capital food processing equipment projects with customers.

This involves collaborating with sales, project management, and the service group to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Design industrial food processing and packaging equipment models using Autodesk Inventor 3D software.
  • Draft equipment layout/installation drawings, piping and instrumentation drawings, and process flow diagrams using AutoCAD 2D software.
  • Review customer specifications, commercial documents, and internal standards documentation to determine project scope.
  • Organize and participate in peer review meetings to generate and review Risk Assessments.
  • Sizing mechanical and powertrain components, including shafts, bearings, sprockets, and gearboxes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
