Strategic Account Manager for Australian Federal Government sector.Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth within Australian Federal Government accounts.
  • Navigate complex government procurement cycles, policies, and regulations.
  • Leverage partner ecosystem to amplify sales and create opportunities.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Federal Government agencies.
  • Conduct technical workshops and product demonstrations with customers and partners.
  • Engage C-level executives, IT leaders, and key stakeholders within Federal Government departments.
  • Achieve consistent sales quotas through accurate forecasting of deal pipelines in CRM.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of B2B IT sales experience specifically within the Australian Federal Government sector. Strong knowledge of management software is required, including observability, database management, or IT service management solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
