Event Operations Manager Role

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within our events team. As an Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of events, including conferences, weddings and other special occasions.

You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that every event exceeds expectations. This involves coordinating logistics, managing budgets, supervising staff and ensuring that all details are taken care of.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or a related field, with experience in event management or a similar role. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the setup and running of large events, including conferences and weddings
  • Manage event budgets and ensure that expenses are kept to a minimum
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure that they are delivering exceptional service
  • Handle customer queries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in event management or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
