Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technician to join our team. As a heavy vehicle diesel technician, you will be responsible for safely carrying out repairs, servicing, and inspections of engines, gearboxes, brakes, differentials, and more.

You will use the latest diagnostic equipment to accurately assess and resolve vehicle issues. Your role will also involve completing clear, detailed reports on repair orders, including supplies used and prioritized recommendations.

Safety is a top priority in our workplace, and we expect all employees to adhere to safe work practices and procedures. If you have a strong understanding of safe work practices and procedures, and experience with American, European, or Japanese drivelines, we would like to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and inspections of vehicles
  • Use diagnostic equipment to resolve vehicle issues
  • Complete detailed reports on repair orders
  • Support apprentice technicians in safe work practices and technical tasks
  • Identify and report hazards or safety concerns

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the heavy vehicle industry in Australia
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (Heavy Vehicle) or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and procedures
  • Experience with American, European, or Japanese drivelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to safety
