Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated diesel mechanic to join our team. The role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy vehicles, including buses and coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and Repair: Identify and rectify faults in diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other mechanics and operational staff to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
  • Upgrading: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to upgrade their skills and qualifications.
  • Experience: Familiarity with heavy vehicles, preferably buses or trucks.
  • Safety Focus: Strong emphasis on maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • License: MR or HR Licence preferred or willing to obtain.
