Cellar Door Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small team at Cape Byron Distillery as a Cellar Door Team Member.

This role is ideal for someone who shares our values, loves our products, and wants to be part of a growing business that produces award-winning gin products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and hosting tours to educate guests about the art of distillation and Australian native botanicals
  • Preparing and serving mixed drinks and cocktails in a fast-paced environment
  • Managing stock, day-to-day transactions, and float counts accurately to maintain a high level of professionalism

Requirements:

  • Current NSW RSA certification to ensure compliance with licensing laws
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills to engage with customers and colleagues
  • In-depth knowledge of distilled spirits, including gin and single malt whisky to provide expert advice
  • Australian citizenship or valid working visa to meet employment requirements
  • Driver's license to facilitate transportation needs

Desirable Qualifications:

  • First Aid Certificate and extensive cocktail knowledge to enhance the customer experience
  • Passion for environmental protection and sustainability to contribute to our eco-friendly practices
