Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Training Mentor to support our construction apprentices in their practical learning journey.

In this role, you will deliver engaging skills demonstrations, guide learners in workshop sessions, and help them develop the knowledge, behaviours and confidence needed to thrive in the industry.

You will play a key part in ensuring workshops run smoothly and safely, while also supporting the planning and delivery of End Point Assessments.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and committed to high standards of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging skills demonstrations in workshop sessions for construction apprentices.
  • Guide learners in practical workshop activities and help them develop knowledge, behaviours and confidence for industry success.
  • Ensure workshops run smoothly and safely, with attention to planning and logistics.
  • Support the planning and delivery of End Point Assessments.
  • Provide technical backup and track apprentice progress throughout their training.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage learners and colleagues.
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Organised, customer-focused approach and commitment to high standards of delivery.
  • Experience or interest in construction apprenticeships and hands-on training is desirable.
