Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Governance Professional to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring effective executive governance arrangements within the Environment, Climate Change and Water (ECCS) cluster.

This includes establishing structured group governance frameworks, supporting strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Manager, Strategic Coordination and lead on key projects, including the development of a stakeholder engagement framework across ECCS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective group governance arrangements within the ECCS cluster.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to support business objectives.
  • Lead on key projects, including the development of a stakeholder engagement framework.
  • Manage a small team and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in governance, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
