Join us for a challenging role as Privacy Officer, where you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on privacy matters.

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with various stakeholders to enhance privacy compliance and governance within the organization.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will be expected to provide high-quality advice and guidance on complex privacy issues, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.

You will also be responsible for leading Privacy Impact Assessments on various projects, systems, and suppliers, as well as contributing to the development of the organization's Privacy Uplift Program.

In addition, you will deliver training to internal stakeholders to promote a 'privacy by design' culture, and support statutory reporting functions.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and support on privacy matters
  • Leading Privacy Impact Assessments on various projects, systems, and suppliers
  • Contributing to the development of the organization's Privacy Uplift Program
  • Delivering training to internal stakeholders to promote a 'privacy by design' culture
  • Supporting statutory reporting functions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and advising on privacy legislation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of NSW privacy framework and regulatory requirements
