Lead Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our company vehicles across multiple sites. This role will be responsible for implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime, managing vendor relationships for fuel, repairs, leasing, and servicing, and ensuring compliance with state/local transportation, insurance, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise the day-to-day activities of our vehicle fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of our vehicles.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors providing fuel, repair, leasing, and servicing services to our fleet.
- Compliance: Ensure that all company vehicles comply with relevant state and local regulations, including transportation, insurance, and safety requirements.
- Fleet Management Experience: 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
