Procurement and Policy Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to maintain and improve our procurement and policy frameworks.

This role is crucial in modernising and maintaining policies and processes that drive compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and align with business objectives.

You will work across a wide network of stakeholders to ensure governance frameworks are user-friendly, fit-for-purpose, and adopted consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance and StandardsDevelop and implement effective governance and standards to support the development of practical and current policies and processes.
  • Compliance MonitoringAssist in monitoring and reporting on policy compliance across business units, identifying areas for improvement and supporting corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder EngagementDevelop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams, to promote adoption of procurement and property standards.
  • Process DevelopmentSupport initiatives to modernise and streamline procurement and property processes, ensuring alignment with business strategic priorities.
  • Training and CommunicationProvide guidance, training, and clear documentation to help stakeholders understand and apply governance frameworks consistently.

What You Will Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years' experience in Procurement Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or a related governance/process role
  • Proven experience working in large, complex environments with corporate-level suppliers
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and present confidently
  • Excellent attention to detail and policy/process development capabilities
  • High level of organisational and analytical skills, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work across functions and levels to embed best practices and support business needs
