Cost Estimation Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to assume the role of Cost Estimator and join our purchasing team.

The successful candidate will gather data and calculate costs associated with materials, labor, and production processes. This role involves interacting internally with all departments, raw material and outside processing vendors to develop accurate cost estimates.

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and customer proposals to prepare cost estimates
  • Engage with material and outside processing suppliers for quotations
  • Maintain outside process pricing in ERP system and work with suppliers on outside process pricing issues
  • Prepare and provide detailed cost analysis reports to management
  • Maintain cost databases and track changes in production costs
