Capex Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Capex Finance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing timely and accurate financial analysis to support business decisions.

This includes both financial and operational reporting, focusing on understanding the impact of capital expenditures on operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly analysis and reporting on capital financial performance
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Owning and optimizing the Fixed Asset Register, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation & amortisation
  • Becoming a trusted advisor and key contact for project teams/PMO managers/senior management on capex-related matters
  • Identifying process weaknesses and implementing improvements

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 4+ years of experience in a mid-top tier accounting firm
  • Demonstrated commercial experience
  • Prior experience working in financial accounting/fixed assets environments, particularly in large and complex settings
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, time, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
