Commercial Real Estate Finance Expert

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in commercial real estate finance and join a dynamic team of professionals. The organization makes investments in mezzanine debt and preferred equity to help experienced property owners renovate, acquire, or recapitalize their assets.


The company's goal is to close deals quickly, without compromising on quality. Their approach combines speed, creativity, and prudent credit risk assessment to achieve outsized returns. To maintain this edge, they invest heavily in AI-powered underwriting and process automation.


As a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer, you will play a key role in originating new business and shaping the company's pricing, product offerings, and go-to-market strategy. You will also work closely with marketing to develop campaigns, create collateral, and deliver webinars/panels that position the organization as a leader in small-balance CRE.


To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience generating and closing commercial real estate debt or equity transactions. Your achievements should include:

  • A minimum of $50 million in sourced volume over the past 24 months
  • A clean CRM with accurate data and insights
  • Fluency in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DSCR, CLTV, and NOI drivers

The ideal candidate has an established network of active sponsors, mortgage bankers, and capital advisors nationwide. They should possess startup or high-growth DNA, with a willingness to iterate quickly, adapt to ambiguity, and take decisive action. Additionally, they should be willing to travel up to 25% of the time for site visits, closings, and industry conferences.
