Job Description

The Service Delivery Support Officer plays a pivotal role in the coordination and scheduling of courses and prisoner services within the Correctional Centre. This position involves fostering key communication processes to link the correctional centre with service providers and probation and parole services, ensuring appropriate services and support are provided.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish effective communication channels between stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify prisoners' needs and allocate them to suitable services
  • Provide guidance to service providers on identified service delivery needs
  • Liaise with service providers for induction training, custodial awareness training, and resource requirements
  • Maintain waiting lists for programs and courses outside of those managed centrally
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should have a strong understanding of the correctional system and be able to maintain confidentiality.
