Job Title: Sharepoint Project Officer

A Sharepoint Project Officer is required to work in partnership with the project officer to coordinate the transition of 400 SharePoint 2013 collaboration sites onto a SharePoint Online environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transition of SP 2013 collaboration sites onto SharePoint Online. This includes developing and maintaining a transition register document and risk register, planning the transition of content for business areas, aligning with costed package options, maintaining documentation related to SharePoint migration, facilitating training sessions for end-users on SharePoint Online, and supporting ongoing communication and change management processes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with SharePoint
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to develop IT-related communications packages
  • Highly motivated and focused on delivering quality outcomes
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Resilience and adaptability in response to change and uncertainty
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with using and managing SharePoint server versions (SP 2013/2016) and cloud-based versions (SPO on M365)
  • Familiarity with the ShareGate tool for migration activities
