Exchange and SharePoint Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Exchange and SharePoint administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in messaging technologies such as Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, and Office 365 Exchange Online.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining Exchange and SharePoint environments, including planning, developing, testing, provisioning, and managing all related systems.
  • They will also be responsible for optimizing system performance, conducting hardware capacity planning, and making recommendations based on future direction and needs.
  • In addition, they will support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors that make up the Digital Workplace technology area.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Administering and maintaining Exchange and SharePoint environments.
  • Planning, developing, testing, provisioning, and managing all related systems.
  • Optimizing system performance.
  • Conducting hardware capacity planning.
  • Making recommendations based on future direction and needs.
  • SUPPORTING PARTNERSHIPS WITH MICROSOFT AND OTHER VENDORS THAT MAKE UP THE DIGITAL WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGY AREA.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert-Level in messaging technologies such as Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, and Office 365 Exchange Online.
  • Advanced experience with SMTP relay system.
  • High-Level of understanding of Microsoft's Productivity Software - Collaboration Suite (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL.
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from team manager, SDM and Client Executives.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to adapt to a changing technical environment.
  • Ability to coach other members of team in their area of expertise.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
  • Customer facing presentation and consulting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.

Certifications

ITIL Foundation (optional), Any Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
