The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a highly skilled On Road Supervisor to join our team in Nudgee. As the first point of contact for our waste drivers and operators, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves scheduling, routing, and site safety inspections to ensure compliance with Veolia's health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate bin collections to maximize route efficiency
  • Administer driver hours, reporting duties, and site safety inspections
  • Problem-solve and respond to customer and driver issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Attend daily end-of-shift meetings to capture incidents and issues

Requirements

  • Good computer and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, and AS400
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills, including negotiation and communication
  • A strong focus on health and safety
