The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a highly skilled On Road Supervisor to join our team in Nudgee. As the first point of contact for our waste drivers and operators, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves scheduling, routing, and site safety inspections. You will also be responsible for responding to hazards raised by drivers and liaising with stakeholders to provide assistance where required.

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating bin collections to maximise route efficiency
  • Administration including managing driver hours and reporting duties across the site
  • Problem-solving by responding to customer and driver issues with a solutions-focused approach
  • Site safety inspections for new and existing sites
  • Responding to operational queries raised by customers and drivers
  • Attending daily end-of-shift meetings to capture incidents or issues

Requirements

  • Good computer and general communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, and AS400
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
  • A strong focus on health and safety
