Renewable energy careers are in high demand, and Worley is seeking a skilled Wind Farm Service Technician to join their team at Mumbida Windfarm in Geraldton, Western Australia.

Job Description
  • Regularly perform planned maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of wind farm equipment.
  • Repair, refurbish or replace defective plant equipment and undertake corrective maintenance tasks as required to restore equipment efficiency.
  • Operate and / or assist with the operation of all assigned wind turbines.
  • Document all activities, readings taken, materials and time used to input information into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance requirements by performing technical procedures, inspections, and test plans.
  • Respond to afterhours call outs according to the Standby/call out roster.
  • Provide support to other wind farms as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development to enhance expertise and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Travel between sites and locations to provide maintenance services across different platforms and locations as required.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited electrical trade qualification, Global Wind Organisation certification, and relevant experience in the heavy industry sector. They should also possess a current driver's license and a solid understanding of asset management principles.
