About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Planning Professional to join our Building Business Unit. This newly created role would suit a seasoned professional looking to step into a senior leadership position.

As a Lead Planning Professional, you will establish and manage planning processes, create detailed programs, and monitor performance to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff undertaking planning & controls activities, exercising functional control over all onsite staff with planning / scheduling responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor, and record Project Controls processes and systems focusing on time, cost, resources, and quality
  • Interface with project teams and internal and external stakeholders for management of the planning function
  • Advise Project Managers in report interpretation, analysis of project performance, forward planning, and development of corrective actions
  • Early identification and communication of issues and opportunities to the project teams
  • Proactively lead a planning and controls culture across the project
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture, or Project Management
  • Significant experience in a Project Controls role within the Building Construction industry
  • Prior experience working as a Site Engineer
  • Demonstrated application of the principles of planning
  • Use of planning software & tools such as Primavera Project Planning, Time Chainage Charts, Program Forensic Analysis, Earned Value, and Cash Flow Analysis

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits including 18 weeks paid parental leave with super and up to an extra 18 weeks of super paid on further periods of unpaid parental leave, multicultural leave exchange, and two extra days to prioritize your wellbeing.
