We are seeking a reliable and highly skilled Logistics Assistant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including receiving and unloading goods, checking stock quality and quantities, and allocating them to designated areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also have experience in operating forklifts and stock pickers, as well as maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and unloading inward goods, checking stock quality and quantities before allocation
  • Assisting customers with pickup enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing dispatch operations, logistics, and inventory levels
  • Loading trucks for daily delivery runs and ensuring timely departures
  • Operating forklifts and stock pickers safely and efficiently
  • Completing paperwork in a professional and timely manner
  • Assembling flat pack items and tracking inventory levels
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

Required qualifications and attributes include:

  • Minimum 1 year's prior experience in a similar role
  • Both forklift and stock picker licenses (LO and LF)
  • MR license preferred but not essential
  • Good understanding of warehouse and logistics systems
  • Strong focus on customer service and positive work ethic
  • Reliable and responsible towards business operations
  • Prioritization and time management skills
