Production Engineering Specialist

As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will play a key role in the safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans that align with short to medium term targets. This includes designing stope layouts and drill and blast plans that maximize ore extraction and minimize dilution.
As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans that meet operational targets;
- Designing stope layouts and drill and blast plans to optimize ore extraction and minimize dilution;
- Leading and collaborating with the technical and operational mining teams to achieve production goals;
- Communicating effectively with the Underground Manager on issues affecting safe and efficient production.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills;
- Ability to develop and implement production plans that meet operational targets;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Proficiency in mining engineering software and tools;
- Experience in mine planning, design, and operation.
