Job Title: Software Engineering Quality Specialist

The role of a Software Engineering Quality Specialist plays a pivotal part in ensuring the design quality of software throughout the development process.

  • This position requires a minimum of 11 years of experience in aerospace/defense industry software processes, including DO-178, DO-254, and SAE ARP-4754.
  • Having a background in government customer projects and FAA projects is highly desirable.
  • Key responsibilities include reviewing system, software, and test equipment requirements, design, and documentation for compliance, as well as collaborating with engineering counterparts to ensure process and product compliance to contractual and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, written, oral, listening, presentation, technical writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
