- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education;
- Experience in working in a policy environment, including policy analysis, development, and review;
- Sound understanding of the policy process;
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and reporting on stakeholder engagement;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Sound organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Adaptability and ability to operate effectively in a complex, sensitive, and changing environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail;
- Demonstrated experience in policy analysis and development;
- An estimated salary range of AU$85,000 - AU$105,000 per annum;
