AFL Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Lawyer to join our client's flourishing high-end property practice. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of high-end residential and commercial property matters, including due diligence, acquisitions, planning, structuring, joint ventures, finance, construction, leasing, management, and sales.
About the Role
As a Senior Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing your own practice and clients, with the support of senior paralegals and junior lawyers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in business development and marketing activities to further grow the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-end property clients and matters, including due diligence, acquisitions, and sales
- Provide expert advice on property law matters, including planning, structuring, and joint ventures
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Participate in business development and marketing activities to grow the practice
Requirements
- Admitted lawyer in NSW with a minimum of 4-20+ years of property law experience
- Proven ability to manage high-end property law files from start to finish
- Strong technical property law skills and knowledge, including drafting and negotiation
- Experience in business development and marketing, with a willingness to engage in such activities to grow the business
- Ability to relocate to a coastal city in Northern NSW
