About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Consultant to join our team at Intecrowd. As a Workday Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, leading deployment teams, and coaching others to successfully implement Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Workday Payroll Expertise

Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, including Absence and Time Tracking.

Deployment Team Leadership

Lead deployment teams in gathering and documenting client business requirements, designing and configuring Workday solutions, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, assisting in testing, and completing knowledge transfer to clients.

Data Conversion

Work with the client/data conversion team to convert legacy data into Workday.

Integration Consulting

Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.

Mentorship and Coaching

Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge.

Complex Task Resolution

Resolve complex tasks and requirements when other team members need support.

Client Adoption

Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.

Project Status Reporting

Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them apprised of overall project status.

Innovation and Improvement

Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.

Certifications and Qualifications

Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.

Downstream Data Translation

Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation, assisting integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems.

Computational Thinking

Demonstrate computational thinking, identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.

Culture of Continuous Education

Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers, serving as a professional role model.

Status Reporting

Provide insightful status reports to project managers, highlighting risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.

Desired Skills and Experience
  1. Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking Experience

2+ years implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Consulting Experience

Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.

Workday Experience

Previous experience configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.

Project Management Experience

Demonstrated project management experience.

Functional Experience

Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking.

Customer Service

Passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Time Management

Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Business Analysis

Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.

Technology Learning

Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

Multi-Project Experience

Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously a plus.

Travel

Expected travel is +/-30% depending on project.
